So far this is what I have chosen for my son’s Bible Memory work. I will keep this updated as we do more lessons.
Week 1, Philippians 4:6: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Week 2 Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”
Week 3, Ephesians 6:13 “Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” (I actually had a longer passage originally at it was a mistake!”
Week 4, Matthew 7:17: “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.”
Week 5, Galatians 5: 22-23: “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Week 6, The 10 Commandments
Week 7, Romans 8:31: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Week 8, Matthew 25:21: “2His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
So I haven’t done the best job of keeping this page updated! When Nativity fast started, we used related verses in Luke and now are doing a couple of verses to prepare for Theophany.
Week 1, Matthew 3:17: 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
